Sound Therapy

What is Sound Therapy

Sound Therapy is a fully immersive mind-body sound meditation experience that incorporates vibrations using gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks, and metal or crystal singing bowls specifically created to release certain frequencies. Deeply relaxing on a visceral level, singing bowls originate from an ancient practice in Tibet and the Himalayas dating back over 1,000 years. Sound therapy has been recognized across the ages from Egypt and Greece right up to modern day practices around the world for its innate capacity to connect a person to their spiritual essence and healing.

When the natural flow of energy in your life force is restricted, it can affect productivity, physical and emotional health, relationships, and communication. Much like a musical instrument that is out of tune, these parts of us that are blocked do not function well or sometimes at all. Sound therapy helps to re-establish resonance, balance, and wellness. It reminds your nervous system that it can relax.

Sound therapy is capable of quieting the mind and deepening concentration to balance emotions and the chakras, increase creativity and clarity, improve sleep, and promote a sense of well-being. On a profound level, the body can experience restoration from illness and disease. It is beneficial for most people of all ages including those who are pregnant, in prehab and rehab, or those experiencing disease, illness, and trauma.

Be gently soothed in a group “sound bath” experience to the vibrations of crystal singing bowls and various instruments imitating sounds in nature OR have a more intimate experience with tuning forks and metal singing bowls. Sessions range in length from 45 to 90 minutes depending on the option you choose.
